Michael has a proven track record in leading and delivering Business Improvement initiatives across diverse global organisations. He has a strong background in the many technical aspects of Lean, Six Sigma, Process Excellence, Quality Systems and Operations Management Michael is a strong leader who delivers results across complex, large-scale transformation and cultural change programs.
Michael is also a strong coach and has an outstanding ability to lead, show and coach continuous improvement practices and Lean Six Sigma training programs.
Michael has considerable experience working both at a strategic and operational level. He has worked across a number of industries leading quality improvement and other transformation programs, which include the following:
- Operational Leader delivering Enterprise Strategic and Business Improvement initiatives at a second tier bank.
- Developed and delivered a Strategic Operating model for volume rollout of new technologies in a telecommunications company.
- Developed a Quality Strategy for Quality Improvement, including the development and prioritisation of the required program of work and the delivery structure
- Co-developed and facilitated Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt) program as well as founding and coordinating Lean Six Sigma Community of Practice within Telco
- Program Manager and Lead Facilitator for Operations Programs within a bank using the Lean Six Sigma approach.
Michael’s qualifications include Bachelor of Engineering (Communication and Electronic Engineering), Six Sigma Black Belt Certification (Ford Motor Company), Executive Coaching Level 1 and 2 and Certificate IV – Training and Assessment
